First-rate equipment and resources

The Department and its affiliated research organisations have a range of major equipment available for use by researchers in the Department. Resources include high powered computer work stations with mass storage, a GIS and remote sensing laboratory, airborne remote sensing instruments, field data acquisition system, earthquake shaking table, wave generator, volumetric measuring tanks, and many other apparatus.
