Corrections to this
edition include the separate list of corrections to the 1998 paperback
addition, plus the following, which have been made in that edition.
I like to think that
most of these corrections are either trivial or obvious, but this is not the
case for all. Please contact me if you
identify any others.
page 1, line 2: replace “supercede” with
“supersede”.
page 4, line 3: after “viscosity” insert “assumed
spatially uniform”.
page 5, equations (1.1.12), (1.1.13): “r” should be replaced by “p” (as in equation
(1.1.1)). There are two instances
in each equation.
